All loaded and ready to go, looking forward to a bit of fun on the river; I'm thinking of bringing Heidi along too as she always responds nicely to steep turns!

I know this is probably only my problem, but:

  (i) I don't like Dropbox,( because the first time I tried to use it, it uploaded EVERY photo and similar file to bloody Dropbox in the sky somewhere, without my asking for or approving it (2+ GB in the days when I only had 4GB per month )

(ii) I 'm not set up for .rar files

   (iii ) I get error 404 for the 2nd .rar anyway .

Sorry about that

Trev           it's NCA just west of KRDD Redding.

BUT   Greg has identified a problem in that if you haven't got payware KRDD then the textures will be so wrong on the sandbars making it unflyable without having KRDD.

So     tomorrows / todays  flight will now be following the Fraser River (FTX NRM area) and the Sacramento River flight (for those with KRDD will be on a day to be arranged)

Flt plan & .bgl's to follow.

Sorry about the last minute change but it did manage to take my mind of the cricket for a couple of hours! ;):(

Where do all the waypoints come from ?

The WP's are what I penned onto the chart, you need to make your own or just fly with the map on your knees! :P

I did try 7zip, but it wanted so much info I didn't understand to extract the .rar files.

(I used to have payware for .rar, but didn't use tt often enough to justify it.

Most, but not all, the fields did come up in FSX once I started to make a flight plan (in FSX) which were not initially  in the FSX list of airports.

Anyway I'll see how I go with NRM.

Sorry to be a pain Bruce, but did you mean ORBX NRM ?

If so I will need to instal it.

How about Orbx PNW ?

Fraser River posted

Not all have the Orbx pay ware KRDD with surrounding textures needed for the sandbars therefore Sacramento River flight substituted by Fraser River Sacramento River flight to be rearranged Edited by Bruce e

I've just realised that there's not much good my participating in the re-scheduled Sacrament R flight, as I don't have payware KRDD.

So there's no need to change the scheduled time for me .

Sorry about that.

Cheers David
