File Submitter: Steven Foster

File Submitted: 04 Jan 2014

File Category: OMSI Utilities + Mods

Which version of OMSI is this download for ?: V2

This is a Single Door Mod for the Mercedes Benz O405 Camo in OMSI 1 & 2. Please ensure you download the file with the "[OMSI 1]" prefix for OMSI 1 installations and the file with the "[OMSI 2]" prefix for OMSI 2 installations.

Included are:

* Mercedes Benz O405 Camo U1001S STCP 1 Door bus

* Mercedes Benz O405 Camo U1001S 1 Door bus

* Mercedes Benz O405 Camo Camus STCP 1 Door bus

* Mercedes Benz O405 Camo Camus 1 Door bus

For each bus, you use the front wing door button to open the front doors for passenger entry and exit. There is also no need to use the bus stop brake.

To Install for OMSI 1:

On some operating systems this can be found in the 'program files' folder.

To Install for OMSI 2:

- Simply extract the 'OMSI 2' folder to (Drive)Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common

NOTE: This mod will not overwrite anything so there is no need to make any backups prior to installation.

thanks Stephen, are you doing more buses like that? I use the d92 1 door in the maps where I use the d92, would that bus work with omsi2?

If it were me, I would use a 3d converter to convert the model from o3d format to 3ds and then model out the rear doors and make it a true single door.

But then you'd need to alter the scripts so passengers get on the bus on the one side of the front doors and passengers get off on the other side.

It's a good job though mate, I'm working on a special something in Omsi 2 atm myself :P
