A while ago I came up with the idea of making a couple of small edits to an old favorite map of mine.

Lakeland was the first add-on map that I ever downloaded for OMSI 1, and now that I have it working properly in OMSI 2 I have begun having a play.

The first thing that I have done, is changed the bus depot in Ryemount, making it slightly larger and providing the mechanics with a workshop.

Other things that I have done so far are:

I have converted the map to Left Path using Iomex's LH Roads pack, and started to lay road markings and change road signs to UK style ones using RoadHog123's pack.

During my several test drives everything seems to be working as it was before I started messing about, and I have seen AI buses going around.

Open Spoiler for more pictures.

Just managed to get Manly ACT ONE running this evening, so I took the B10BLE/Renown out for a spin on the 159. :)

Arriva has sold a bunch of its Renown-body B10BLEs to State Transit, as a trial to replace the last of the STA's Mk Vs operating out of Brookvale depot. I was the first driver to test out the "new" B10BLE in service:

A few minutes into the trip. I winded up with a full bus halfway down the route.

Driving along one of Manly's main roads.

With a 200-car AI load, OMSI was struggling to manage 20 FPS, even with my recent CPU upgrade. Also I had to deal with numerous red lights. Hmm...

At Dee Why shops terminus, with the appropriate desto sign so no-one mistakenly hops on.

Despite its quirks, the B10BLE is a nice RHD bus to drive... but the thing was a slug up Manly's hills, even though I popped in a 5-speed ZF script. I literally had to reverse back and accelerate to speed before climbing some slopes... I think I might have to adjust the torque converter a bit to get more oomph out of the vertically-challenged Volvo. I do hope to modify it for Manly operation at some point...

Awesome,
Glad you have taken on the challenging hills of Manly.
My plan for the impending Manly ACT TWO release was to use the Eclipse with Cashdesk in TfNSW livery and the Renown in the older STA white and blue livery.
Anything that can improve the buses is great.

National Express West Midlands held an open day at Sutton Coldfield Garage. (just thought i'd make it more interesting way of showing off my latest repaint pack) Also, these have been updated to look better. I may remove the blue section from the back of the E200 to make it look like the Scanias that only had red on the back. Includes more readable logos and also none covered parts and a daysaver advert on the E200s that have NX logos.

Please note, not all repaints visible are mine. Repaints that are mine will say.

After making my E300 style LEDS for the E200,  I decided I would use the Original textures and redone them to be better than the defaults.

This is the end result :)
