Can I just buy a DVD of the ozx scenery instead of having to suffer the joke of the download page?
Bear in mind that no-one is forcing you to suffer anything.
We, on the other hand ......
A DVD is not for sale .. for various reasons.
Many users and Admin staff have seen fit to send DVDs to people at their own discretion .... so it is a double shame that you've made such an apparently rude entry now isn't it.
Oh ... and Welcome to the Support Forums.

After having played all the buyable CFS 3 stuff and searching for more I got to know ETO.
I then downloaded it but never got it running,I think I did something wrong at one point, due to my rudimentary english skills.
Somehow I was ambitious and tried it over and over but having failed to make it run so often I lost concentration and I didnīt feel like anymore.
Then I found this forum , plucked up courage and decided to ask You to help me.
Thanks again and Kind regards,Klaus

Hello and good morning, thank you for all the work you are sharing with all the Simulation-Fans like me.

Klaus. I am sure you will find the help you need right here, but I am a little baffled as to what is ETO? it may be that the others will know, but I am not familiar with the abbreviation.. Teecee.

thanks for your answer, now Iīm in a bit of a self-made Trap...
all I know it is an add-on for CFS3,European TheaterOperations?
I read about it after googling for CFS3 enhancements,so I got curious and found the place to get it-right here.
But as mentioned above,I wasn`t able to play it,no good PC skills,no profound English skills and not patient enough.
I really wanted to play it,because all users were really fond about it.
Yesterday I downloaded it again, ready to go,when I find assistency.
Ok,Regards from the f.. cold Germany,Klaus

I ran across this page today, registered, and got pretty excited about the download. It started at ~30kb/sec, about 12 hours total. Is that the download speed, or am I doing something wrong? I have 10 mb/sec DSL and I'm concerned about reliability for 12 hours.
Thanks,
Frank

After 2 failed downloads (server dropouts at 326Mb & 1.01Gb) I tried using Free Download Mgr so I could re-start the DL next time but couldn't get it to find the URL (although it worked just fine with OZx 3.1 file).
In desperation I tried the RapidShare link and downloaded parts 1 & 2 but 7-Zip reports "CRC failed - File is broken" for both of them. My download experience is pretty basic & I'm not sure if I'm using RapidShare correctly - like what do I do with multiple file parts - do they need to be joined somehow, or installed into FSX individually?
I notice that you have provided another link to a few others in the past would really prefer to do a conventional download if possible - is there another URL I can point FD Mgr to? Any help you can give me would really be appreciated as my download limit isn't high.
Thanks, Graham
(please disregard my previous, less detailed, post on this problem)

Hey mate, you need to clean your cache/temp files before redownloading the files else you will always end up with the same CRC files cause your machine 'thinks' it is doing the same download

I just slammed the server for the full OZx load(7 files) and had 'em all safe on my machine in less than 30 minutes. In reading the manual it states I MUST have Holger's mesh but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?
Thankx in advance,
Racartron
Edit: Never mind
