It is here now folks: the photoreal scenery of the Grand Canyon area. The scenery is for FSX SP2 only, it has got a resolution of 2m/pixel, autogen and nightlights, Summer season only. The main airport of the area, KGCN (Grand Canyon Natural Park) has been dramatically improved. It is a stunning scenery, created by Antonio C., and Maurizio G. The photoreal scenery is based on the latest techniques, to ensure a real visual experience in flight. Colorado river has animated water in the parts where it's bigger. Here a quick overview of the area it concerns:

This is an excellent piece of scenery.
But surely it is completely out of place in OZX.

Downloading now. Fantastic work!!!

We are for scenery for all the world. When the FTX scenery expands into other parts of the world, I'm sure we'll see a few strips hosted here for them. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif I'm delighted that this scenery has a home here. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif

Thank so much guys! {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif For first i wish to THANK Jay and all the OZx team, Antonio encharged me to thank everybody for the opportunity you gave him to publish the scenery, and obviously i make the same thanks.
I know that the site has been created for first for the Australian area, anyway it's a place where you also learn to develop, and i have learnt a lot here. The Australian territory is covered here by a pro team, who is doing an excellent work. Nothing equal on the net..... I started to work on the italian territory, as hobby, but improving myself once time learnt, and i am happy if OZx is becoming international for others area covered also with my contribute {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif
The main idea, i believe, is to get good freeware scenery to enjoy.... {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif
Thanks again guys!!!

Maurizio and Antonio

No, there is 4 mate, however the fact that the ???/??? is coming up is indicating to me that no contact can be made to the outside world by the installer so I would suggest to check for your Internet Security software's permissions for the small downloader.

Hi Jay-
Thanks for the tip - I had removed Trend Micro last week and installed the free AVG instead. Its' firewall was the problem. I just installed the scenery - but have to run off to work (UGH!) - fly later.
Thanks again.
