Hi.
I hope I'm putting this question in the right spot of the forums, and I hope there's someone out there that can help me. I have been having problems with FSX crashing for the past couple of days, and it really has me stumped. I'm pretty sure that this is not an ORBX or OzX issue, but an FSX one. Basically I keep getting the FSX fatal error message, but strangely it seems to happen about 20 to 30 minutes in to my flights. In windows event viewer I can see that the faulting module is always aiplayer.dll. It has only been around Australia, as that's where I've been flying most recently, and as mentioned it has only been in the past couple of days. Also, strangely, two flghts ago I did a 2 hr flight from YMML to YMLT (I took the scenic route), and there was no crash then. I really don't want to install FSX and every add on again, as my scenery library is now up above the 500 mark for entries. Please help if you can. Cheers.

As you seem to be the only one with this problem I would think the problem is with your computer rather than with the program.
At a guess I'rd say perhaps a memory shortage or overloaded cache. Try emptying your cache.

Hi jgruschow. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I thought it was a strange problem after I tried googling it and found two posts from people with a similar problem, but no solution. I don't think it's memory as I've recently installed 16GB of RAM, and I also recently did a complete clean with C Cleaner. On the bright side though, I did just complete another two hour flight around several airfields with no crash, so whatever the problem was seems to be gone for now, touch wood!
