  1. File Name: Bowdenham V4 File Submitter: dazza1980 File Submitted: 09 Jan 2015 File Category: OMSI Maps Which version of OMSI is this download for ?: V2 Welcome, as always, to Bowdenham! Thank you for taking the time to download the latest version of Bowdenham. Bowdenham V4 is only available for OMSI 2 and will not run in OMSI 1. Please make some time to read through the documents to assist you in making sure that Bowdenham V4 installs correctly and runs without any issues. As with all previous versions of Bowdenham, this map remains a Freeware map available to everybody and free to modify for your own personal use. You may not upload this map or your modified versions of this map to any hosting sites without strict express permission. Please bear in mind though, I will only support this map on the AussieX forums and will not provide support for any modified versions of Bowdenham V4. Required Bowdenham Repaint pack available separately here- Public timetables, created by Esqui- For full details of the map, please take a look at the readme file! I have included all required assets, so if you have any missing items please post a comment in the section below.
  2. Bowdenham Hof File

    Thanks John! I have been out of touch with OMSI for a while. I was completely unaware of the new Hof suite!
  3. Bowdenham Hof File

    Hi Rich, The Bowdenham hof was created the manual way and is the same format used in the Spandau map. This is the way Hof's are suppose to be created for OMSI 2. However, many people seem to use the old OMSI 1 layout. The Hof file suite never really worked properly and certainly doesnt use the OMSI 2 format. Thanks Dazza
  4. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    Copy the file unsched_trafficdens from the default Spandau map, into both the Bowdenham V4 map folders.
  5. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    You need to install the required addons including the RNC bus pack. These are linked in the readme file.
  6. OMSI Bowdenham V4 Road Sign issue [solved]

    You need to install the fonts that come with the map download.
  7. Bowdenham V4 Download Page Issues

    This issue should be resolved now.
  8. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    Thank you gents, and lady of course!
  9. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    No probs! Glad you got it working! As for 2017, Im afraid I have all but retired from OMSI, so there wont be anymore versions of it.
  10. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    If you have renamed the VKL splines, ensure that you have done so in all the Chrono folder files aswell as the main map folder file. Also make sure your rename convention is the same (IE the folder location and name matches exactly the location and name given in the map tile files)
  11. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    I just tried the download now using Chrome and had no issues. It would suggest a problem your end, have you tried deleting your Internet Cache folder?

  13. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    Unfortunately its a known issue with the new patch, but a really simple fix. Copy the file "unsched_trafficdens.txt" from the original Berlin map, and paste it into both the Bowdenham map folders. This should fix the issue
  14. Dynamic Route markers

    I dont think it makes too much difference, but I always put it after the [NextIDCode] entry.
  15. Dynamic Route markers

    [dynhelperactive] Add this tag to your global.cfg file
  16. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    The mobitec hofs are found in the Volvo 9900 folder in the download.
  17. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    I just had a quick look and the mobitech hof files are included in the download.
  18. Removing Chronos

    The problem there is nearly all the chronos for Bowdenham rely on the previous chronos. So there for the only one chrono you could remove is C as it is a purely separate chrono. It has a start and finish date. All the others only have start dates and therefore build up like in layers. I would have built the map in a different way I had known this issue!
  19. Removing Chronos

    I would advise against trying to remove chronos in Bowdenham. It wont work. The last chrono O relies on the early chronos for scenery objects. In essence what you would need to do is de-construct the map so all reliant objects and splines were available from the start (in this case chrono O). Im afraid there isnt another way around it, I have tried!
  20. Nice job Steve! Time to get rid of those horrid O520 Cito's!
  21. General Screenshots + WIP repaints

    If only the Citaro K had come along back when I was making V4. I always hated the little Cito. The K would have fitted in quite nicely instead!
  22. OMSI Maps :: Bowdenham V4

    If you are running V3, you need to make sure your OMSI 1 is running the latest version which is 1.06. The map wont run/wont be stable on any earlier versions.
  23. Yes indeed, I made sure to get the discount! From what I can see there are two issues, the train issue and this line- 285 10:31:47 - - Error: The file "vehicles\Gueterwagen\Zas_Wien.ovh" could not be loaded! This vehicle is there, albeit named Zas.ovh, not Zas_Wien.ovh The train appears to be there, maybe a problem with the file itself?
  24. I have bought both from Aerosoft and installed. However, there appears to be a problem with AI files missing on the 23A 2005 map. I have posted over on the official forums about this. Heres my logfile if anyone wants a look -
  25. It is a shame, I watched a little yesterday and was impressed. Was rather looking forward to this. That said, i would much rather wait a little longer and get a complete product rather than a half finished product! Nothing more off putting than driving around a buggy mess!
