Congratulations all, on a job well done. This is far more than just an addon for a default aircraft. I believe that time will show this project is a milestone for FSX. regards Mike
  10. Connect FSX to Oziexplorer

Thanks Marc, Will download these files. To link FSX and Oziexplorer is something I've wanted to do for a long time. regards, Mike
  11. Connect FSX to Oziexplorer

Many thanks for the replies to my post. I have tried FSMoving Map and obivously the crew who put the AU series together did the hard yards and put a good package of maps to gether. I have used OziExplorer for several years, collected several maps and produced some of my own. So back to my original post can anyone guide me towards linking Oziexplorer to FSX I have searched several forums and it appears that it can be done It's the basic instructions are difficult to find.
  12. Connect FSX to Oziexplorer

Thanks Matt, I had downloaded these files and got some help to get FSMoving Map set up for FSX. I have compared them to the 1:250,00 topos for Oziexplorer and they are very close to that imagery. I've noticed that when I looked closely at the AU series of Jpeg images that the airport markers and small comment boxes had been added. Eg. AU_Gold Au_map_22_146.jpg Emerald Airfield Airport Symbol ( Similar to a GPS waypoint) YEML (Similar to a comment box in Oziexplorer) Could you let me know how this was done or guide me to some instructions.
  13. I am new to FSX. I would like to connect FSX to Oziexplorer and use the moving map function. I have started to create a spreadsheet for the OZx 1.1 airfield's Lat and Long, to display in Oziexplorer as waypoint files. My internet connection is slow and prevents me from using programs such as GMap. My system XP service Pack 3 2 gig ram AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000+ Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT Video Dual Samsung 940n monitors A simple set of instructions would be really handy as my computer skills aren't that great Many thanks
