  1. As always; even though I haven't been flight simming for about two years, I will donate Jay. However, a word of warning.. I signed up for a lifetime deal on other sites; only to find that after a few years they were dissolved. No come back. Still here is $100:00, hope it helps. Cheers Hank

  3. Made redundant.. again

Got you e-mail Jay. Who does one blame? I am in a real quandry as to who to vote for this time, because I think they've all lost the plot. I'm not looking forward to the next few years. Hope you can obtain another job quickly; your services here in the flight sim world would be missed greatly if we didn't keep Ozx afloat. So the cheque's in the mail as the saying goes. Good luck Hank
  4. Moruya on short finals

Hi Ken, I've been flying with TeeCee the last couple of days...left Wynyard and went to your Claude Rd Strip. I know the extraordinary hours you put into your airports...Moruya is just getting better and better. You're a Marvel...brilliant stuff. You make us enjoy the experience of FSX/FTX and Ozx so much more. Thank you. Cheers Hank
  5. Burnie and three veg

Clever as ever Ken. I'm back home and flew to King Island last night. Lovely piece of work there. The tree ferns are great too. How do you do it? After I mow the lawn and whipper-snip the grass this weekend;I'll be in touch. Cheers Hank
  6. HD Bonanza - Work in Progress

Hi Butch, You have another avid watcher. What gets me is you say you have a day job as well? I'm retired and I don't think I'de find the time to do this kind of work.... you guys just amaze me. Keep on showing us the results. Top stuff. Cheers Hank
  7. Question for Kman

Hi Ken, Dropped into the computer shop at the Fourways yesterday. Told them I wanted a new Super computer for FSX and ORBX. Your name came up when I mentioned OzX and ORBX. I've just moved to East Devonport and would like to meet up to discuss the rig and share ideas. email me at [edited for user protection] Cheers Hank
  8. Designated Water Runways

Hi Turbine Flyer, In Tasmania. I've seen a floatplane land in Hobart Harbour and tie up near the Casino. Another one landed on the Huon River at Huonville where passengers got out and went for a ride in the Jet boat. That was a remarkable bit of flying coming in about fifty feet above the road bridge as you enter Huonville from the south. They've also landed in Bathurst Harbour in Southern Tasmania and at Strahan. On the Gold Coast near Sea World they have a very old bi-plane on floats that does joy flights. In New South Wales, it's the Hawksbury River that has a seaplane landing area just behind the peninsula on the sheltered side from the ocean. Hope that helps a bit. Cheers Hank
  9. Lesson 4: A bit turbulent...

Hi TommyG, I still follow your exploits each week and envy you like anything. Still can't believe you're only fifteen years old. Your writing is so well constructed and it is generous of you to share this pastime with strangers on the net. I see so many young people in the mall here in Hobart, just throwing their lives away getting up to mischief, and then think of you; so together. Your parents must be very proud of you. I don't personally know you, but I for one am also proud of you. You're discussed at our breakfast table after every entry you make on this forum. Keep enjoying your dream. Cheers Hank
  10. Hi Anthony, What can I say that hasn't been said before. Your airports are so real and lifelike it is just unbelievable. That is except for the static people standing round at the market in Evans Head. One day I bet you'll get them to move around like the boats do. Nitty nitty aren't I? I am an ex member of the Motor Home Club (used to live in a bus) and we stayed many times at their Village in Casino. We first stayed there when the airport still had use of the full runway and I went up in a Jabiru for a joy flight. Then the runway was shortened and the Motor Home Village sprung up. What a buzz to see that you have modelled the whole area to perfection; even placing motor homes facing the right direction. I can't imagine the hours you must have spent with this project; but the results are there. FANTASTIC!!! I know that the whole 33 airports you have developed are worth more, but please accept my donation of $30.00US as a gesture and appreciation of thanks. It must give you a buzz though to be so creative? Well Done Cheers Hank
  11. Hi Gentlemen, Just love the repaints you guys do, especially giving the aircraft VH call signs. I'm using several of them, but for some reason three of the Baron Beech 85 planes have black dashboards and black props. The fourth one is the RFDS one, and it works fine. Can you tell me what might be causing this problem? Regards Hank
  12. Self imposed strike

Yes JK. Good luck with your stand. I don't know how you find the time to be doing the work you're doing for this group? Doing your job, then having time with your family surely takes up the majority of your time? Looking at your age though, you have a few years ahead of you yet to remain in employment... don't throw that away. Take care and as the old saying goes "no one is irreplacable". Cheers Hank

  14. A couple of shots from the DC3 flight tonight..

My first reply at this website...usually at ORBX. You guys seem to have so much fun..... I have no idea how you can all fly in such tight formation let alone taxi a DC3 on a bush strip. I am also amazed at how the technology works so that you can actually see each other in real time? I have to keep using FS flying school to try and improve my skills before I could possibly do what you guys do. Tommy G from Melbourne (are you the 15 year old on ORBX site?) your pics are just mindblowing. I know you're going for your PPL at present so good luck and I wish you all the best. Cheers Hank
  15. OZX HD Team first project WIP pics

I have no idea how you guys do it, but its brilliant. I like the idea of having aircraft with VH-??? on the mainframe when flying in ORBX country. As far as choppers go, I can never seem to land one properly. Regards Hank
