  4. Ant's Airplanes and P3D

I was told I needed to ask this question over here so: Does anyone know if Ant is planning on releasing any patches for his airplanes to work in P3D? Mr. Ant, do you have any plans? I tried putting the Sierra in and it worked once (although the VC was not clickable with the mouse) and everytime I tried to start P3d after that, it just locked up and so I removed the Sierra. I would really like to have all of Ants planes working in P3D. any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
  5. File Name: sightseer skies 2012 part1 File Submitter: sightseer File Submitted: 07 May 2012 File Category: User Scenery This package contains 4 complete skies and a few alternate daytimes to be used with Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration (DX9). I feel these are better than my previous releases. I hope so anyway. If you've seen any of my recent screenshots, then you've seen these skies. I use FEX cumulus (String of Pearls) and REX cirrus (set 13) and the default FSX sun. You can reproduce my screenshots with these things (provided you want to of course ) anyway...Im sure theres something here you can use. You have to know how to backup and install your own textures in order to use these. I am not liable or responsible for the use and/or misuse of these textures. Note that this is technically 'part 1' but there may never be a part 2 because I feel all my work will be irrelevant very shortly due to new sims and new versions of sims. Happy Flying.

  7. Hey sightseer I wanted to comment on your sky textures..."Awesome job" I really like complete set 3 the sunsets and dawn textures really bring things to life on FSX..I'm still working on finding the perfect daytime textures you have I haven't check all of them out yet...I just had to say great job and thanks..

  8. Alternative to photoshop

I dont have much experience with ground related scenery so I dont know if this will help or not but... the program I use is called 'PhotoImpact'. You might have a freeware version (v12SE) on your motherboard CD. My MB CD had it but it wasnt listed in the user interface. You have to search the disk itself. If not, you can go to Corel and search for 'Ulead PhotoImpact 13' and it should link to 'Corel Ulead PhotoImpact 13'. Corel bought out Ulead and now Corel wants to kill the program apparently. Ive tried to work with corels painstshop and its not very user friendly. PhotoImpact is a more powerful and better program IMO. Note: if you have the freeware v12SE from Ulead, dont let it access the net for updates. The reason why is complicated and I may be wrong but my free copy worked for a year and a half and it was only when I checked for updates that my free copy started 'losing its mind' periodically. It would act like it was just installed and reset all my preferences to there defaults. The copy I bought from Corel (which runs on an XP machine) doesnt seem to have the same problem. It was only $19.95 the last time I checked. (and its easier for me to work with than paintshop)YMMV. a company called Nova (novadevelopment) also makes a PI13. You can get the boxed version for $90 dollars at amazon.

Im using Acceleration. These are both new and IMO better than my first complete sky. the daytimes are also brighter. You need to know how to backup and install your own textures to use these. DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible or liable for the use and/or misuse of these textures. They are provided at no charge and may be shared only as complete sets and provided you give me credit. Ive been working on these off and on for a while now. I think Im finally finished. If youve seen any of my screenshots over the past few months, then youve been looking at these skies. Please note that I designed these without any lighting mods. Please disable any mods you use until you see what these look like. I prefer VFR flying but I think these look fine with lots of clouds as well. They work just fine with either REX or FEX. Happy Flying!

  11. File Name: sightseer skies v1 File Submitter: sightseer File Submitted: 18 Nov 2010 File Category: User Scenery Hi. This package contains one complete sky and a number of alternate daytimes to be used with FSX (DX9). Its a work in progress that I may never get any further on. time will tell. If you like flying around the tops of scattered billowing cumulus on a beautiful day then try these skies. Some of them look quite similar but they are all different. I tried to make skies that looked good not just in good weather but also in bad, and I think I succeeded in most cases. This package is intended for those who know how to back up and install their own textures. happy flying!
