  1. Personal Assistance Humbly Requested

Not much this time I'm afraid, but happy to chip into the pot with others. Great website and great downloads! Cheers and good luck from a friend across the Pacific (US).

Purchased the Chinook from Flightsim.com Pilot Shop. No registration key required (or provided). Downloaded Patch 1.01 from here and it requires a registration key to install. How do we resolve this? Thanks!
  4. AS332 loss of rotor RPM

Thanks Mr. Gunny Mike! Patches appear to have done the trick. Patch 1 installer indicated that you shouldn't install if you weren't having the RPM problem so maybe that's why I didn't install it previously. I didn't have any problem before. Sorry for the trouble. I will now go do pushups until you are tired! :-P My test was actually on the Puma (cool paint job) at Boscombe Down, but I think that's OK. I anticipate that Patch 1 has fixed everything. If I have any more problems specifically with the Japanese Coast Guard at Haneda I'll let you know. Thanks again!
  5. AS332 loss of rotor RPM

Thanks Mr. (Gunny?) Mike. I will install the patches and try again. Interestingly enough, I flew it sometime ago after I first purchased it and I don't recall having this problem. I had been flying my other sims for a while and came back to the AS332, discovering this. Another interesting item that I noticed is that your AFTER ENGINE START checklist calls out an item "Torquemeter..... Check, no light." After start my torquemeter indicates the blue light. (I believe my torquemeter is in torque 1 + 2 mode). Anyway, I will install all the patches (thought I did before, but maybe not?), give 'er a whirl, and let you know. Perhaps I missed something.
  6. AS332 loss of rotor RPM

Oops. Sorry. I ordered it from SimMarket on 05/03/2010. Order # 617934. Product ID 3919. But looking in my e-mail or my SimMarket account I don't seem to see a product key or anything...? I don't recall if that was the order number or something else...
  7. Conditions: FSX Acceleration Quick GPU start GPU disengaged after start Rotor brake disengaged Fuel control levers "Flight" Tokyo Haneda (100ft. MSL) ~15,000 lbs. GW No annunciators Attempt to hover OGE Requires torque past red radial line on torque meter (light GW- shouldn't need that much torque?), but less than limit redline. After x minutes (didn't time it, probably 2 min or less) Nr/Nf steadily bleeds off from normal and must set aircraft down. Also happens in forward flight. No additional warnings/annunciations. All engine indications green No "Failures" set (verified from FSX menu) Behaves like N2 bleed off, but not expected for aircraft & environmental conditions (???)
  8. New Update for the Huey

OK. I know you're going to hate me for asking this. How's the update coming? I try not to ask, but I haven't heard anything in a while. Or is it already released? "Patch 1" in your downloads area is flagged as "NEW." But I suspect that's the patch that I already have. My biggest beef is that the RMI's are inaccurate. I don't even really care anymore if they work like real RMI's. Just give me accurate heading indicators. Please... Thank you.
