  5. Donation Drive OZx

Just got your email this morning. This site is too good to lose. My donation already on the way. Regards to all from the USA Sure wish I could visit Australia (Thanks to Nevil Shute, Breaker Morant, et.al.)
  6. OZx is a site worth support

Very sorry to learn of the situation faced by the site owner. I am a LONG way from Australia but always enjoy "visiting" via forums. My donation has been processed and I'm betting that many others will help keep this site going. Regards to all Neal H
  7. How to add scenery to FSX with Windows 7.

Many,Many thanks for this thread. I spent an hour or more over the last two days trying to install an openVFR scenery. It took 30 seconds after reading this thread. Neal Howard
  8. One day all was well and then yesterday (after a week away from the Goose) I launched and had everything black except instruments. The Preview pane was good but all views after launch show a black Goose with black disks where the props are rotating. I reinstalled but without any success and then by accident discovered that a few models still are good..only a few however. Anyone know what happened? How to fix? Much Appreciated Neal Howard (way off in the USA but wishing to be there)
  9. Chipmunk Floor Compass Lost, Strayed, or Stolen

Thank you for your responses. Sorry aussiecop but this is such a good forum I decided to give it a try. The chipmunk referred to in my post is Rick Piper's and my FSX is the Acceleration so that is probably the trouble. The Chipmunk is a great project and enjoyable. But then the Tiger Moth came along! What a beautiful aircraft....Usually my sim time is used for IFR practice flights and ILS landings. Even though my real flying days are over it is still fun to keep up. However, with the Tiger Moth it is fun to hop around in the Pacific NW and enjoy the plane and scenery. Regards to all
  10. Please excuse me if this is not the correct forum for this post. I am a newcomer to this forum and OZx. You folks have an extremely well-done site. Thanks for letting me join in. Here is the problem: The Chipmunk is a beautiful bird and flies like a dream. Sounds, looks, feel are all wonderful. However the large floor compass innards are missing. You can see the ground through the hole. Is this a bug with my installation or common to all? There is also a gauge missing on the left side above the coaming...probably a small mag compass. My rig uses Win 7, 64 bits and the sim is FSX Acceleration. Any information will be appreciated. Compass or no compass, this Chipmunk didn't take long to become a favorite (and now the Tiger Moth...can it get any better?) Btw...I actually saw Art Scholl put a chipmunk through it's paces once in the far distant past....even more unnerving than Bob Hovver in his P-51. Thanks in advance Neal Howard Virginia, USA
