  3. AW109 FDE Patch?

    Dear Customers, As we stated several times, the flight dynamics update is a work in progress, and we want to release it in the second half/end of July. We already understood that some of you are very frustrated with the current FD - the majority of customers are not though - so there is really no need for jumping into new topics with the same subject over and over again. All of your observations are noted and will be taken into consideration during the development. "But you paid 40 bucks for half a product." "It's not good enough to release a payware product that is seriously flawed" I found these kind of statements a bit over-exaggerated. There is FD for the AW109, some of You are just simply not satisfied with it. And other than this, You are clearly not aware of the amount of work that is necessary for the other segments of the development of such addon. I respect that You might beta tested several products from other developers and fly different kind of aircrafts in RW but such statements make Your - otherwise valuable - comments irresponsible. As customers You have the right to tell us your observations, ideas, requests and dissatisfaction here in our support forums in an appropriate manner but you cannot make your personal opinion appear as fact and you cannot exercise your ego on other customers who are apparently satisfied and dared to indicate that.
  4. AW109 Speed with Autopilot

    The AP holds the IAS from ~50 kts to ~120 kts at the moment. Further improvements will come in the future.
  5. AW109 Issues

    Fist of all, read the manual please. - The autopilot holds the altitude +/- 15 feet, don't expect it to be as smooth as on a fixed wing - AP GS hold works, there is no APR mode on the AP, to get the AP to hold the GS and LOC you have to enable ILS and IAS (on 60-80 kts) and SBY. Also, don't expect fixed wing AP performance here either. (refer to manual) - To enter indent code you have to push CRS on the transponder first (refer to manual) - Altimeter measure is correct - Parking brake is effective

  7. AP works best with max realism settings and FSX autorudder feature disabled. Also, we added the PDF manual to the product page, under the download tab.
  8. Note that there is no nose light on the VIP variant, only on the side landing gear chambers. Those can be activated with the landing light switch on the collective by flicking it to BOTH position.
