  9. Help required from someone who knows.

Not really an answer Jack, but a did a new install a week or so ago of FSX then OZx, Orbx etc. and haven't touched anything since. I have no .agn files in library/textures and can't see any reason why they should be there. I did notice that I have, in the library/texture folder these files that I don't think should be there... static500D.bmp.bak wp_OZ_gliders.zip Undergrowth.dds.orig Undergrowth.dds.new There should only be .dds or .bmp files in there, anything else is just taking up disc space as the system won't read them Cheers Tony
  10. Christmas present

  12. I remember doing his some time ago. Works OK, just use the.... [source] Type = MultiSource NumberOfSources = XX at the start of the .inf file and use the total number of entries in the .inf. You will need to put in blend, watermask, night and season entries for each area of PR and reference them to the correct BMP/TIFF entries. Gets a bit messy if you add too many areas As you add, say a night entry, for the first PR you will have to renumber all of the entries after this and then renumber all of the reference calls to match the correct entries. Cheers Tony

Happy Birthday Ian. A bit late but I've been off the air for most of a week. Changed over to Optus and the modem they gave me lasted about 3 hours before dying. I've been waiting for the replacement to arrive!! Cheers Tony Happy Birthday Ian. A bit late but I've been off the air for most of a week. 15. I'm Back Baby!

Good to see you back Glen. You've had a few ups and downs from the sound of it mate but life goes on and what you lose on the roundabout you pick up on the hurdy-gurdy, ...or something like that Cheers Tony Good to see you back Glen. 16. The passing of Ian Thatcher

Vale Ian. A real pioneer of Aussie FS scenery and a true gentleman. We all owe him heaps for his work, co-operation and friendship over many years. Fly free old mate ! Tony
  17. Please welcome two new devs

Welcome fellas. I'm sure you'll get all the help you need so don't hesitate to yell out!! Cheers Tony
  18. Great news Jay! and I echo Ian's sentiments .. a little bit comforting... The service here just keeps getting better and better. Cheers Tony
  19. Airfield suggestion?

Mainly GE imagery but there are also nearmap.com (very good imagery but limited coverage - see the post in Community Scenery Design) Yahoo Satellite and other sources. For your 1st attempt I recommend you use GE and SBuilderX to get your photoreal imagery and follow the tutorials here and elsewhere. Cheers Tony
  20. Airfield suggestion?

One way would be to go to... http://www.knav.sabc.org.au/airport/ or... http://www.guidomedia.com/allflying/airfieldcodes.html These have lists of Australian airports and airstrips. Many unlicensed. Just browse around and then check the positions in Google Earth. Many will have lousy GE imagery so it's all a bit hit and miss. But you should be able to find somewhere. Happy Hunting!! Cheers Tony
  21. OZx v3.2 and Norton 360

I had the same thing. Just de-activated Norton and everything went smoothly from there. Cheers Tony
  22. Great Work (Thanks Tony)

Glad you like it mate!! and 'Thank You' for the photos, makes all the difference to have them. Best way for anyone to attract a dev to do their favourite airport is to offer "on the spot" info and, especially, photos. Cheers Tony
  23. Isolating a bombing range

Could you post your .inf file here so we can have look at it. This would make it easier to sort out. Cheers Tony
  24. OZx is 2 years !

2 Years! OZx is but a pup!! - Happy Birthday OZx - and 3 Cheers to Jay!!
  25. .BGL not showing up

G'day Terry, This pretty weird phenomenon with IS happens out of the blue to me, and there have been other posts here about it too. It just suddenly stops and I've never been able to work out why it can suddenly happen to a scenery I've been working on for days or even weeks. At one stage I thought it may have been when you go for a bit of a flight after an IS session without logging out and in again. Just a theory I had. Bloody annoying, I know, but it does seem to just go away as suddenly as it started. Cheers Tonyy
