  3. I said it wrong: I meant the normal integrated gauges in the VC (tweak works for 2D types only).
  4. Sure, if you are satisfied with your framerate, then there is no point. For me this tweak is quite effective though. I think the quality of the gauges is good enough and still easy to read with 512 pixels. I'm happy to have gained more fps, as 3dfx once said: framerate is life Just to be clear: I'm talking about the 2d gauges in the virtual cockpit.
  5. I've read that a 2d panel pizel size of 1024 can cause a significant fps drop in FSX, and that lowering the value to fx. 512 will improve fps. The value can be changed in the panel.cfg in the panel section of your aircraft. You need to look for vccockpit section of the panel.cfg. I tried lowering 2d panel pixel for the Dodosim 206 and it actually improved my fps. The downside is that the gauges become more blurry (perfectly acceptable trade-off for improved fps imo - especially for chopper flying.) I recommend you give it a try if you need more fps. Cheers
  6. VFR with Saitek Radios

    Very nice video!
  7. Oki-doky, its no biggie anyway.
  8. Thx for your answers. Ah, I forgot about CTD and such. I meant when you crash as in collide with something. Any ideas on how to stop FSX from reloading automatically, other that disable crash detection?
  9. Hi people. Do you know if you can keep FSX from restarting after crashes?
  10. Ants Aussie Airports Complete

Can't wait to try all these strips! What do I do when I've got Orbx's Warnervale YWVA already installed? How can I keep it from being overwritten? Thx.
  11. Good job there! I love this plane!
