  1. I am the one carrying out the conversion to omsi. I am currently in the process of implementing the 8.9 variant into the game, and i can just clarify that the double door variant is incomplete. As i am taking taking my GCSE's, i am very limited to the amount of time i can spend working on the bus. The time i do have is very little and i use this to have a break from the work at school. Please don't be asking for release dates as there isn't a set date for release as of yet. If you really want a quality mod for omsi, it's best to wait.
  2. over the past days, i've been implementing a bus into omsi. The body and static objects are in the game, but when it's come to the wheel scripting i have grinded to a halt. I have exported each wheel into omsi after setting the origin to geometry in blender, exported to omsi and began to edit the scripts. I inserted the coordinates XYZ into the .cfg file and attempted to load the game. However, when i test the wheels out they are going up into the air and underground. I have been trying to figure out why this is happening, and to see where i;ve gone wrong all day now. I failed to find any tutorials online in relation to wheel scripting and so far i am unable to continue work on the bus. Could anyone shed some light on this issue, i would be really thankful for your help Thanks, Intercity24

  4. Why are you posting malicious links ?
  5. What's the zide of the .x file you're trying to convert ? Also, which version of .x have you exported as.
  6. I've been after a version of this chirp myself. I know which one you mean. Try watching those start-up vids, i'm sure someone will find one with a clear enough sound soon.
  7. Hi everyone, As may of you might not know, i have been working on a north Manchester map or omsi in recent months. I did host a thread on this, however it was removed due to inactivity. I am still working on the map, but progress is really slow, i simply don't have the time to produce the map on my own. I was wondering if there's anyone out there with map making skills who could help me during the process, i am finding it a little difficult to complete it on my own. If you would like to help with the map production, please could you PM me. I would really appreciate your assistance. Thanks, Adam IncterCity24
  8. Yes, which does not correspond to Chris at all.
  9. Second image removed. Please do not show busses coming from Chris Samuels, these busses might contain illegal content.
  10. Firstly, you need to make sure your model is inported into Blender. As this will allow you to carryout an easy export to omsi. Firstly, enter the Blender settings and select the Addon 'Export/Import .X DirectX" After this, you need to section out your model, for exmple, Steering wheels, wheels and body's which have a high poly count, which will exceed the 5mb limit, which the omsi x uses. Once you have done this, you can begin exporting your models. You will need to download the omsi x converter. Export your model, with back face culling enabled as a .x. It is IMPORTANT to double check your file size, and make sure it isn't no more then 5MB. Once you have done this, launch the omsix and select your file by clocking 'convert'. The program will begin converting your file over. I suggest leaving your computer alone whilst the red circle is indicated, as using your computer may result in the program crashing. After the red circle has been extinguished, you can close the program, and use your .03d file in omsi!
  11. Could you send over your log file ? I've had this issue myself, the scripts load as they are seen, so they start from the top and work their way down, if an error or typo is found in the script, lets say in the middle, the rest of that script won't load, even if its correct.
  12. Recently, i was messing around with the keyboard functions on omsi. When i pressed F11 i was transported into a first person view, and had the ability to walk around. I've just tried looking around a bus within the game and i was surprised to see it kind of worked, there were a few glitches, such as the bus shaking whilst inside the vehicle, but you have the ability to walk around the whole bus, and even walk up the stairs. I was just wondering if any other omsi players have came across this function ? From the looks of it, it appears to have been an option when the developers were producing the game, but it was never properly finished. It would've been great if they did, doing so would bring a whole new look to the game.
  13. Something i've been working on in the last few months is this modification for the Enviro200. I am attempting to make this look as British as possible.
