  1. Pacific :: PMDG DC-6B TEAL ZK-BGC

Thank you for this paint Jan. Enabled me to bin the JF DC-6. A great day.
  2. Flying in Venezuela

Looks great, just got this but not given it a workout. Probably go down Argentina- Chile way. The Andes mountains were very disappointing in FSX hope this changes that. FWIW there are a couple of great South American sites with FSX scenery by the bucket load but you have to use the Google translator to work out what is what, very tedious for a non spanish speaker. By the looks of Veneuzla it will be worth the effort now. Nice screenshots.

I think I prefer the yellow, AND the Carvair is a more than suitable stand in for the dreaded Bristol Frightener (As it was known to those who flew it or should I say suffered having to fly it).
  4. An of course one has to have the last DC-4 to ply the Australian routes on behalf of Qantas. Thanks again.
  5. Great effort Jan, much appreciated, while I know Qantas used the other scheme for a long time I never really liked it, the white and red only was much cleaner than the yellow ochre striping they used. Anyhow thanks very much for your time and effort. Joins other notably JK paints in my hangar.
  6. Probably doubled up here but great paint. Not many VH paints for the King Air and this a really nice one. Used to see Paspaley King Airs a lot when I was up Northern parts, so this a very welcome addition. Thanks.
  7. Nice job on the King Air Matt, been missing a good Ozzie registered King Air in my box and this one fits the bill beautifully, used to see Paspaly's King Airs a lot when I was up North. Great work and thank you.
  8. Oz Mil Paints

A really good one Matt. This released fixed a long overdue gap in RAAF aircraft used in WW2 and two of which survive here in Australia. Spoilt now I have two Aussie paints on Bostons (one came with it). Appreciated and thank you.
  9. DAK

Like the RAN paint Jeansy, nice work. In the bottom shot she looks like she is about to roll to the right in a big way with the aileron deflection.
  10. General repaints

These look great Matt. Only have to sort out the model itself and it would be a winner. Found some colour shots of the Commando doing the hump will post a few if your interested in the colours used unless you have seen them on the net. It looks like quite a dark olive green.
  11. General repaints

Jeansy - noted red the FDE, will do but not just yet have my hands full with outside the PC real life stuff at the moment (not a drama but time consuming and tiring) but will be interested to see what you have come up with.
  12. Very nice work, still got to explore them all. Started out with McCarthur River, looks great and goes well with ORBX AU. Thanks it is appreciated. OZ just gets better and better.
  13. Thanks for those Jeansy. They do interesting paint schemes the JSDF their C-47 was equally lurid with orange all over as well certainly would not miss seeing them.
  14. General repaints

Like your work, just a question, interesting end to that runway and turn nodes - where is it?
  15. Thanks JanKees, a splendid addition to my hangar and very much appreciated. I actually can remember seeing this aircraft at Port Moresby as very young fellow. Standing in front of that big radial (well it seemed gigantic at the time), after a flight up from Sydney in the Qantas Super Constellation gave me the Aviation virus for which no cure has been found.
