  1. I flew in and around Toowoomba for almost forty years. I do not know what the testing of your scenery entails but if you need any more people to lend a hand with Toowoomba, just give me a buzz.
  2. I am lined up on 11 and ready to go.
  3. YTWB Toowoomba

Looks like the real thing. Spent many hours doing touch and goes at YTWB. Getting up and getting down are the two essential ingredients for safe flight. The bit in the middle is still important but not as much as starting and ending; a bit like golf.
  4. YTWB Toowoomba

I helped Tony Arnold obtain photos, etc. for his fs9 version of YTWB. The fsx version is long overdue and many thanks to all who are involved in this project.
  5. DAK

Happy....I'm ecstatic. TIME TO CELEBRATE. Ron.
  6. DAK

The colour of the text on the fuselage changed over time but it was definitely black when I helped Prof Edwards mask it off. As for A or N, A would have been on the plane at some stage of its Air force life but it ended up N so I guess N is the go. Watch that shoulder, Mate. Ron.
  7. DAK

Matt, priorities first. That Smith bloke has plenty of other things to occupy his lazy retirement; you get yourself squared away before even thinking about pampering the whims of others. How did the damage occur? Ron.
  8. DAK

Matt, Smith is on the blower. Good afternoon Sir and how the hell are you? Have been 'US' for a couple of days and have not been up and around much. Is there somewhere I should be looking for the Dak?
  9. RAN Virtavia A4

The Military Aviation community is still to find an attack/fighter that can replicate the capabilities of the A4.
  10. DAK

Bravo Zulu, me ole son; spot on. Smith.
  11. DAK

The Dak I spent most time in started out as VJ-ORB. We did the gun alignments for the new West Head Gunnery Emplacement as well as alignments for ships coming out of refit from Willytown. She had a long life and ended up as N2-23, with NW on the tail fin and 801 0n the nose. I did a Show Card and Ticket Writing course at the Nowra Tech College and helped a bloke named Prof Edwards paint the ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY on the fuselage. I reckon I had a good time. Ron Smith.
  12. DAK

No hurry, Matt. I have a fridge full of Tiger. Still love that stuff. Ron.
  13. DAK

    Go for it, Matt.
  14. DAK

Has the silver RAN Dakota been released yet. Ron Smith. ex Dak Crew.
  15. If the wets are open it is my shout. Youngharry.
