  1. I've PM'd him anyway. I was making a snide remark yes. My point in all this is that Chuck should support the wider community more as he seems to confide himself to this thread with very regular posts here. I will use an example of myself when I was young... I had David guiding me and telling me where I did things wrong and could improve. I see the likes of say, Lowlander21, if he doesn't mind me saying, creating an end product for this community, and he has had very little encouragement from any moderator. So my point to Chuckinho was don't just post another 1000 screenshots here, try to support projects here. I see no moderator has actually posted in the Scunthorpe topic yet- another project alongside Bowdenham that brought people to the forum. I want the forum to be good again, but its been going downhill for a while. I remember a time when people were helping each other out in all sorts of ways. You had certain people chipping in with this and that to get a project done- this isn't really seen anymore... Key members have gone- David, Lockheart, Thiago, Flippy... Funny that, they are all mods. Threads like, the Music thread allowed you to learn a lot about one another. Just try to build relations between different members again. That's what the forum ultimately needs!
  2. It was a bit of advice that I wanted Chucky to see, I was not wishing to report a problem or make a fuss of a problem. I don't see what I've done wrong.
  3. A lot of people on this forum forget that. The site has a really good mobile friendly version but a thread full of picture is impossible to load. I avoid this thread like the plague for that reason!
  4. What percentage of your posts are in this thread? Must be 95% as I don't see you supporting many of other peoples projects around here. I'm just saying because a less regular but bigger update to this thread might get more reaction off of people as oppose to 2500 posts which just show a screenshot. This has always bugged me about your tenure here but never said it cause I didn't want to upset the man but I'm leaving now so hey have some advice from me.
  5. You have to find the Textur-Changes section. I need someone to look after this, preferably a moderator- itd have made it a bit easier for me anyway!
  6. I have used the RNC as put forward by Joe Alker- this covers most textures. A link for this RNC can be found in the Repaint Naming Convention thread
  7. Dennis Dennis Enviro 200 - New RNC Dennis Enviro 500 - Added link to this RNC
  8. The link to this RNC is here- https://www.dropbox.com/s/r7rs0malhjr9vva/Dennis_Enviro200_RNC.txt?dl=0 Better to keep everything in one thread though, so I hope you wont mind Joe, can this thread be locked?
  9. I have spent most of the day at work, so I'll look to get this sorted tomorrow now.
  10. Why don't I just make this as RNC? I can sort it tomorrow and it will be much more widely usable for people across the whole OMSI community...
  11. Is this really necessary? It'll make the model.cfg really long and OMSI will be looking in the .cti if a hell of a lot of textures have been changed...
  12. Map doesn't touch any Chicago files so its a weird one. OMSI can be weird so may be worth looking if you have "too many" maps for the game to load. You'd be surprised how much better the game runs with fewer maps, objects, splines and vehicles!
  13. Does anyone know how the Windows 10 is working on brand new laptops? I'm looking at getting one online from somewhere like Dabs or Ebuyer for about £900. I'm guessing it will arrive with Windows 8.1 and I'll have to install the upgrade like everyone else. What happens in say 3 years time if the laptop has to be wiped using the manufacturers' repair disc- would I end up being stuck on Windows 8.1 again? I thought in the past, it was the manufacturers responsibility to get their laptops upgraded if they wanted to (and therefore provide relevant support discs) but now everywhere just keeps linking back to Microsofts upgrade!
  14. You've more than likely got the file name wrong. Make sure it is exactly as it appears in the window with the correct file type at the end!
  15. I've done something similar with Daytonford. I've just said that all credit for splines must go to him, as all I did was change the textures to suit an American map
