  1. General Video's of real busroutes

Left the Midlands for the first time yesterday! One of the buses I filmed was First West of England Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400 32098.
  2. Bus Spotting

Not really spotting, as this was at an event, although I do have some photos that were taken while I was waiting for the shuttle bus. In the first spoiler, there are some preserved buses. In the second spoiler are some buses with routes that they'd never operator on their displays, as well as some withdrawn routes and curtailments (including rare ones). I put some of these routes on the displays. And finally, in the last spoiler are a couple of photos I took whilst waiting for the shuttle bus to Pensnett.

Well then, to say goodbye to step entrance and non DDA double deckers I headed off to Burton on 31/12/16. I managed to get a trip on their MCW Metrobus, my favourite type. The bus in question was originally an MCW demonstrator. There is a video of a Leyland Olympian and a Routemaster on my channel. Well, this turned up on my local route this morning - 15A/15C Sutton Coldfield Circular. I have been told it has happened before but I havent seen this on there before - it's supposed to be single decks due to the train bridge in Erdington - though this is clearly running short to Sutton Coldfield as seen on the display. This is NXWM Volvo B7TL 4251 on the 15A

First Day/First Video National Express West Midlands Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 6802 905 (FIRST DAY OF PLATINUM ON SUTTON LINES) - Perry Barr Garage The repaint released on Monday is the livery worn by this bus. Today I give you the first video of a Platinum Bus on the new upgraded Sutton Lines 902, 904, 905 and 914 routes. Note how the next stop display says the old Travel West Midlands name instead of National Express West Midlands. Bus is 6802, route is 905, filmed between 1330 and 1350 on 14/10/16 in HD between Sutton Coldfield Lower Parade and Erdington. Yes, I do speak to the driver at the end. I also caught 6798 this morning on the 904, after spotting it while on the 15C, getting off and then getting onto that bus. These buses feature a voith gearbox and stop start technology.
  15. Bus Spotting

A low quality photo of BRAND NEW National Express West Midlands Enviro 400 MMC 6799 reversing into Sutton Coldfield (Lower Parade/Gracechurch Centre) at around 7:58 this morning. It is to advertise NXWM launching Platinum on the Sutton Lines services 902, 904, 905 and 914. Now you see why the Platinum repaint for the OMSI 904 map was released!
