    OzX Grand Canyon

I've had KGCN and the canyon for years. I'd flown over it a bit, it was nice. Today I treated myself to a canyon helicopter tour. I climbed in the Dodo 206 at Page Muni, and heade to the Colorado river. I followed the river into the canyon, and continued down the canyon to KGCN. I was blown away by the beauty of thescenery. A dib here, and a dab there didn't give me the appreciation of the scenery it deserves. A longer flight made a difference! An incredible job guys, and overdue compliments! Sue

    [MAP] Manly ACT THREE

No pics tonight as I have been working on the southern approaches to the Harbour Bridge. The plan is to create the southern approaches as an intersection as it is essentially flat making it easy to texture and add lane markings etc. The sheer number of lane mergers will no doubt offend the OMSI AI traffic. Thankfully the bus access isn't really affected, except for having to head from the far left at the toll plaza to being in the far right of the 3 lane exit ramp onto York/Grosvenor Sts. The key milestone for me is that although the intersection isn't ready with textures and lane markings yet, I have connected up the splines so I have no technically connected the City with the rest of the map's roads - Hoorah

    Bankstown now Released

You're a brave man Pat. Actually Mom said I was blonde at birth, but by the time I was 4, I had turned into a brunette. This must be my second chilhood. I'm having fun anyway... LOL Sue

Yes it should. Each line in an AI list is Fleet Number <TAB> Registration <TAB> Repaint. So if you're not putting a registration number in you need two tabs. ... and on the upside, they've patched the destination display not working on AI buses properly, so any destination works now!

It's worked fine for me in Paint.net - what I've done is after saving it as DDS, go to the single layer remaining and set it to 20% transparency (I don't think the percentage matters though, just not 100%). Resave and it should work.

I think you've totally disregarded anything that I have suggested. Yes, OMSI maps are intended to be mainly be driven on, but scenery is also important. Especially if you're driving through areas that have little to no scenery. You use the term 'freeware' which most OMSI Projects are, compare it to Cotterell, which too is freeware, there is a major difference in quality, taking into account that the map is fictional. Many of us hold down full time jobs/social life's/families with our projects so don't take this as a personal attack. I work full time myself. I simply suggested ways that I personally believe Hertfordshire can improve, the standard for UK maps has changed a lot from the OMSI 1 days owing to Cotterell. I think you personally should be more open to feedback and less open to everyone just agreeing with you. At the end of the day, you shouldn't put a map out there if you're not willing to hear the pros and cons of it. Dismissing it as 'if you don't like it, don't drive it' after I offered friendly advice is just ridiculous. But cool, I'll fly away with my 'helicopter' good day
