    Note to self

When you lose your C drive, drink coffee BEFORE attempting a re-install of Windows. This will prevent erasing the back up drive with all your scenery and airplane installers by mistake. Re-installing everything the hard way. Thank goodness my registration codes were on a different drive, so I know where to download stuff. I hate stupid mistakes. Sigh Sue

View File Mercedes-Benz Citaro UK Citaro Facelift UK Conversion by Lowlander21 Important information This is a modification to the original citaro. Whilst this is a stand-alone bus, the credits to the original model go to Helvete 3D Studios. When repainting, be sure to flip the logos or text on the front and sides of the bus on the template. Any logos on the back of the bus don't need flipping. Another thing to note, prior to the electrics being turned on, the dashboard screen floats just behind the ticket machine. Don't worry, this moves over to the right place when the electrics are on. To install Drag and drop the OMSI 2 folder into your OMSI 2 directory Simples. Acceleration Addons

Hello Scott, No problem. I did everything and it is working very well! All Add-Ons are working correctly and the new Add-Ons also. There were a few bugs in the boxed edition but in the steam version they are all gone. In addition the game is starting much faster than before. I used CCleaner and it is not only for the FSX great and easy to control. Thanks a lot for the support. Greetings Christian

Hey Terry, thank you !!! , these windsocks are only for P3D V4 as the models do not work in FSX, I tried to make them to CASA specs so they are true to life..(no one better than you to know!...), they are using a help program called SODE, as P3D does not support (as yet) animation via environmental factors .. Hi All, As a flightsim community I thought it would be good to share the following link of another development group focused on Aussie scenery as much as we are. Here you might find an airport you have been wanting on or wanting the OZx team to develop along with a number of liveries. I cant see any real double ups and I don't believe they are looking to do Airports which are well covered by our group. All their new stuff will be for P3Dv4 only. http://www.ausfs.tk/

    the wet

heres a few photos from a local photographer who has been capturing the hourly storms we have been having for the past week and half and some from other periods to be honest ive had it up to here (raises hand as highest it can go) with rain and thunder and wind, its almost making me decide I want to move south if only weather program can depict what we experience not just overcast clouds and rain

    the wet

the quality of the attached video isnt anywhere near the images above, however the past week we have this come through every hr or 2 during the day and from 8pm constantly till about sunrise this was taken at lunch today our weather station bolted to the roof, claims on average the wind is about 50-60kph highest was 92kph last friday night the joys of living next to the water and in the tropics, howerver i lived in cairns for 12yrs and must admit it rains more there with average yearly rain fall is about 3m compared to darwins 1.8m per yr but when it rains in darwin it really rains where cairns is more of a constant steady rain

    the wet

Great pics, brought back lots of memories ..... hiding in the hangar while the lightning banged and the rain was a wall outside with about 10 feet of visibility .... I loved the NT in the "full on Wet" and the "full on Dry" ,,,,, the bits in between were not so good!

    OZxFC Good Practice #1

OZxFC - Good Practice For our added enjoyment it would be helpful if we all followed a few basic guide lines when joining or departing airfields. Always load at a parking spot, if none available move off the runway to a parking area if one available as soon as you spawn. Do NOT sit on the RW Take off & land INTO wind. remember surface wind may not be the same as 3000ft wind Do not take off when someone is in front of you. Announce your intentions eg "c/s departing 08 to the south / ......Departing 08, RW heading" Traffic Join Initial Call. Aprx 5-10 miles from strip state your location & intentions eg, c/s 10nm east of field joining left (right) Downwind (or base) RW # , landing Call Downwind or Base RW # Call Final RW # Basic elements of a LH traffic pattern Typical Message Sequence. c/s 5 nm North joining left downwind RW 24 c/s downwind RW24 c/s Left base 24 c/s Final 24 < Tonys ATC Guide > still applies today, please read and digest.

    Bit Disappointed

Not convinced if this is an OZx issue...probably not, more like a default FSX and perhaps Orbx issue. You just have to check out the depiction of the Darling River which is a major river system part of the Murray/Darling basin and using all the latest addons and payware etc...it barely appears. I am putting all my hopes in an updated Orbx Australia product sometime during 2018.

Some progress from Lotus: Look at the framerates at the left upper corner. They are not very promising at the first part. Later on, they get better but this little map (a Lotus version of Grundrof) isn't really demanding and there is no AI around. Anyway, see for yourself.

This airport is a combined project by myself, Elias Smith, Watkin Tench (Liam) and a complete AI file provided by TerribleT (Terry). Toowoomba Airport is officially known as Toowoomba City Aerodrome and is both licensed and certified. The aerodrome is owned and operated by Toowoomba Regional Council. Being certified means the airfield is able to have airlines and larger charter aircraft operate from the aerodrome. No scheduled passenger services currently operate from Toowoomba Airport, with most commercial airlines moving to Wellcamp nearby. The airport is used by Darling Downs Aero Club, CareFlight, Royal Flying Doctor Service and Toowoomba Airport Services.

    Wanna laugh?

Just passing on a couple of self described "bad" jokes from a thread over at Aerosoft: "Time for a bad joke: How do you know when there’s a pilot in the room? He tells you." "Another bad one: During a dinner date with a beautiful woman, a pilot says..."Well enough about me, let's talk about jets!"" Cheers,

THIS IS A NEW EXPANSION PACK, IF YOU HAD THE FILE NAMED OZx_Goose_HD_v1.00.zip AND YOU WANT TO UPDATE, PLEASE GO HERE TO DOWNLOAD. THIS IS A NEW EXPANSION PACK, IF YOU HAD NOTHING PRIOR INSTALLED YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE OZx_Goose_HD_v1.20.zip FILE HERE WARNING!! IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU BACKUP YOUR OLD DEFAULT GOOSE, AS THE OZX GRUMMAN GOOSE HD REDUX WILL OVERWRITE CERTAIN FILES IN YOUR DEFAULT FOLDERS. As noted in the installer this package consists of a number of new HD paint schemes that expand on the work of the first Goose Redux package: N39FG,N4763c,N1257A & N789 & the VC texture tweaks are the work of Gizmo & Tasman Air & the USCG schemes are both butches This project came about as a result of myself (gizmo) wishing to tweak a few things that slipped by in the first Goose 1.0 - 1.02 packages and hotfixes and as a small project to get myself back into repainting after a 6month or so hiatus (amazing what you can forget in 6 months!) At first I thought it would only be a few quick tweaks to the Redux base package normal map to fix some inverted lighting issues & to add a scheme or 2 that I had almost finished that didn’t managed to make it into the first package, it quickly turning into much more as I started to expand and rework various parts of the package, durning this time I managed to rope Butch into doing a few more schemes for the goose which he committed to dispite his Real life workload and other repainting work he was doing for other aircraft. So besides the above schemes what you also end up with in this package is new VC textures for 4 of the expansion schemes that are more colour coded to the external paintwork,2 tweaked normal maps that fix various lighting errors found in the first package and a host of New VC & external camera placements. It’s been quite fun to work on new & rework various sections or the original for this Expansion package and I hope you enjoy using it as much as we did making it for you to use If you need to get hold of myself or Butch you can contact us via the OZx painter forum @ http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/forum/40-the-paint-point-aeroplane-alley/ Again I hope you enjoy the package and we didn’t let too many bugs through but if we did please drop by OZx and let us know. Laters Steve AKA Gizmo & Butch AKA .. well.. Butch
