A2A B-17G 401st BG "Hard Seventeen"

About This File

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-55-BO 42-102659 "Hard Seventeen". It was assigned to the 614th BS of the 401st BG, based in Deenethorpe, UK. Hard Seventeen was damged by flak on 10 january 1945 during its 59th mission. Two engines had to be feathered and the aircraft made a succesful emergency landing near Grimbergen, just north of Brussels. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.
