  5. Manfred Jahn's Douglas C-117D Lineas Aereas Canedo RP2421

    This folder contains a repaint for the freeware Douglas C-117D by Manfred Jahn. It is painted as CP2421 of Lineas Aereas Canedo of Cochabamba, Bolivia, a family enterprise founded by Captain Rolando Canedo in 1978.
    CP2421 was built in 1944 as a R4D-5 (c/n 12979, BuNo 17190) and flew with the US Navy. It was converted to R4D-8 in 1947 (c/n 43365), and flew with the USMC. It was later civilianised as N4504W before going to the Dominican Republic as HI-545CT until 1998. It was bought by Canedo in 2002. I am not sre of its whereabouts at this moment.   7. A2A Lockheed Constellation Panair PP-PCB

    This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Silver Lockheed L-049 Constellation. It shows PP-PCB, a L-049 of Panair do Brasil. Contructed as c/n 2043 in 1946, it first went to Pan American Airways as N88848, and was named Clipper Golden Gate, in march 1946. In August 1946, it was transferred to Panair do Barsil, becoming PP-PCB and named Bandeirante Domingos Alfonso Sertão. In 1962, it was tetired from use and scrapped at Galeão. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

  8. A2A Lockheed Constellation Panair PP-PCF

    This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Silver Lockheed L-049 Constellation. It shows PP-PCF, a L-049 of Panair do Brasil in its second Panair paintscheme. Contructed as c/n 2049 in 1946, it first went to Pan American Airways as N88849, in march 1946. In July 1946, it was transferred to Panair do Brasil, becoming PP-PCF and named Bandeirante Antonio Rodrigues Velho. In 1962, it was retired from use and scrapped at Galeão in 1969. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

  9. A2A Lockheed Constellation YV-C-ARE Lineas Aeropostal Venezolana

    This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Silver Lockheed L-049 Constellation. It shows L-049 c/n 2081 YV-C-ARE of Lineas Aeropostal Venezolana as it looked in 1948. It was delivered to LAV in october 1946 and named 'Simon Bolivar'. It flew with LAV until 1955, when it was sold to Braniff, becoming N2520B. It was onwards to a number of companies until it was forced to land at Santa Cruz, Bolivia in 1961, while smuggling cigarettes and whiskey from Miami to Uruguay. It remained in Santa Cruz for a few years, becoming a palyground attraction in the 1970's, and a library in 1979. It was painted in Pepsi colors in the 1990's, but was bought by AeroSur in 2002, and painted in their scheme. It is currently being looked after by a travel agency, and has been painted in silver since 2015, still in Santa Cruz. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

  10. A2A Lockheed Constellation CX-BCS CAUSA

    This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Silver Lockheed L-049 Constellation. It shows L-749 c/n #2640 as CX-BCS of CAUSA (Compañía Aeronáutica Uruguaya S.A.), the airline of Uruguay. Causa bought three Constellations form KLM in 1962, and CX-BCS was the former  PH-TFD "Arnhem". It flew with CAUSA until 1967. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.
