By JayKaeInstructions for this little utility:
1. Ensure you have Java installed. If not, go here http://www.java.com/en/
2. Unzip FPS_Limiter_0.2.rar to where ever you want it (I unpack it to a new directory in my FSX folder)
3. Open your new directory and run FPS_Limiter_GUI.jar
4. Select D3D9 in the Settings tab
5. Click on "search executable" and point the dialogue window to your fsx.exe file in your FSX directory
6. Enter your maximum fps value desired, most recommend using 30
7. You can set logging and OSD options if you like but the OSD is unnecessary and I don't need a log so I don't bother.
8. Click "create bat" to create a new batch file which will likely be named something like fsx.exe.limited.bat and will appear in your FPS limiter directory.
9. Make a link to that and use it to launch FSX. A second window will open with FSX, leave it open or minimise it until you close FSX.
(Thanks to Warpspider)
Version 0.2, 11/15/2007

Version 0.1b, 11/13/2007

- Fixed Bug in D3D8 Hook
Version 0.1, 11/12/2007
- Inital Release
Beispiel:
fps_limiter /r: OGL "c:\spiele\quake4\quake4.exe" <- Nutzt OGL, also explizit angeben
By JayKaeIf you want the OZx airstrips (340+) to show up in FSX airport selection list and being able to select to fly to and from them, you can download the BGL files at the bottom. That will add these airstrips to FSX list of airports/airstrips. The download contain one BGL for each region.
This is very basic. It does not contain afcad files, but you can select the airstrips in FSX list of airports, and start at a airstrip or fly direct to an airstrip by using the FSX flight planner and GPS. The airstrips that did not have an ICOA code I have allocated a YZ.. code so to facilitate selecting the airstrip by name or by code. I have added an excel spreadsheet for all the airstrips with their ICOA codes that is included with the download file.
If u don’t want to see the airstrips, they just remove the BGL. A very easy process.
By nojwodThis file contains maps of the OZx airfields made using the online map function provided by Tom T. They are just screen shots of areas big enough to show enough detail to locate airfields in your chosen area. They can be printed out and used as a reference without having to fiddle with the online version, or as a reference point from which to drill down into the online maps for more detail.
Covers all the OZx fields that were listed on the online map version as at 29 Sept 2009. Corrections and additions are welcome via PM to nojwod.

By Guesta newly adjusted effect file where the dirt clumps have been removed from the dust effect file.
Also included are instructions how to do it yourself.
By chiefbosnThis is a exe.xml file for P3D users that would like to be able to use Lamont Clarks AI Carriers in P3D. This file is tested and vetted in P3D and has no other startup applications listed.
To use; Find your Lockheed folder in "App Data" (usually C drive/Users/your name or computer name/App Data/Roaming/Lockheed. Copy and paste the un-zipped file and that's it.
Of course you need to have AI Carriers installed, and if you are running FSX with P3d and have AI Carriers installed and working in FSX, the above instructions will work for you with nothing else needed.
If you do not have FSX installed, you should still be able to install AI carriers into P3D but there is a different process and it is explained, but i am not sure how to do this myself. the method is discussed at another sim website. If you google "AI Carriers install" it should take you to the right place.

By tennysonHi Guys,
Here's a collection of three backgrounds for your desktop featuring FTX Coff's Harbour and the Flight 1 Cessna Citation Mustang.
The original background concept was by Russ White featuring a Dornier.
By GuestSometime people have problem with snow still being shown as they fly high and normally about 20 feet below the plane.
By renaming the effect the snow blown from engine about 20 feet below aircraft will be removed. There were a number of people I know that dont like this specific effect especially in external views and when they want to take screen shots.
See attached file for instructions
By VH-WCEI made three splash screens and thought i would share them
By GuestThis little BGL files add the OZx airstrips In USA and Canada to FSX aircraft selection list that has been released but do not contaon ICAO code. This make a couple airstrips from the freeware OZX developers available for you in FSX to select from the airport list and they will also show up in the FSX GPS. So you can start your flight from these great airstrips without searching for them.

By the muleVFR WAYPOINTS for Australia
I have compiled the information as per Air Services - Aeronautical Information Package (AIP) En Route supplement Australia (ERSA)
supplement for VFR Waypoints in Australia so it can be imported into Plan G
Reference document http://www.airservic...23-Aug-2012.pdf
Simply download the attached file to your computer and unzip to folder of your choice.
Open Plan-G and go to [Manage Data]
Select [import] then select the CSV file and import the file which will then add the 1,012 VFR Waypoints.
You should then be able to see in Plan G all the ERSA - VFR Waypoints for Australia
NOTE make sure you have VRP selected in the 'User Waypoints' section on Plan G for the selected Zoom level to show them.
Update: Have amended colums so that under 'Notes' it will now show the VRP as a VFR waypoint.
It seems the ERSA - IFR ones also are not done so stay tuned for that to be done soon
Update - IFR Waypoints Now posted and available on site here

By tennysonHere are 250 flag pics in PSD format for use in Photoshop or any graphics program that supports psd files.
They are textured buttons with no background, so just bring them into photoshop and then drag the flag pic from the file to your finished work.
Flags of all nations, so I don't think anybody got left out!
A lot of work went into these, so I hope they get used.
By DieterVisual Reporting Points New Zealand - VRP
For those of you flying in New Zealand I created a collection of nearly 700 VRPs according to this source:
==> Chapter "Visual reporting points"
Before importing these VRPs into your PlanG installation I recommend to make a backup of your PlanG /Data/UserWaypoints.sdf file.
By writing back this saved file you are able to restore your old PlanG status.
By volcom1720A screensaver I made showing the stunning work of the Orbx team including 8 different slides all with the Orbx logo.
I DO NOT CLAIM ANYTHING FROM THESE PICTURES.
Being distributed as freeware and freeware only.
