  2. 340+ Ozx airstrips selectable in FSX

If you want the OZx airstrips (340+) to show up in FSX airport selection list and being able to select to fly to and from them, you can download the BGL files at the bottom. That will add these airstrips to FSX list of airports/airstrips. The download contain one BGL for each region.

This is very basic. It does not contain afcad files, but you can select the airstrips in FSX list of airports, and start at a airstrip or fly direct to an airstrip by using the FSX flight planner and GPS. The airstrips that did not have an ICOA code I have allocated a YZ.. code so to facilitate selecting the airstrip by name or by code. I have added an excel spreadsheet for all the airstrips with their ICOA codes that is included with the download file.

If u don’t want to see the airstrips, they just remove the BGL. A very easy process.

  3. AI Carriers exe.xml for P3D

This is a exe.xml file for P3D users that would like to be able to use Lamont Clarks AI Carriers in P3D. This file is tested and vetted in P3D and has no other startup applications listed.

To use; Find your Lockheed folder in "App Data" (usually C drive/Users/your name or computer name/App Data/Roaming/Lockheed. Copy and paste the un-zipped file and that's it.

Of course you need to have AI Carriers installed, and if you are running FSX with P3d and have AI Carriers installed and working in FSX, the above instructions will work for you with nothing else needed.

If you do not have FSX installed, you should still be able to install AI carriers into P3D but there is a different process and it is explained, but i am not sure how to do this myself. the method is discussed at another sim website. If you google "AI Carriers install" it should take you to the right place.

  7. Flag Pics

Here are 250 flag pics in PSD format for use in Photoshop or any graphics program that supports psd files.

They are textured buttons with no background, so just bring them into photoshop and then drag the flag pic from the file to your finished work.

Flags of all nations, so I don't think anybody got left out!

A lot of work went into these, so I hope they get used.

  8. FPS_Limiter_0.2

    Instructions for this little utility:

    1. Ensure you have Java installed. If not, go here http://www.java.com/en/
    2. Unzip FPS_Limiter_0.2.rar to where ever you want it (I unpack it to a new directory in my FSX folder)
    3. Open your new directory and run FPS_Limiter_GUI.jar
    4. Select D3D9 in the Settings tab
    5. Click on "search executable" and point the dialogue window to your fsx.exe file in your FSX directory
    6. Enter your maximum fps value desired, most recommend using 30
    7. You can set logging and OSD options if you like but the OSD is unnecessary and I don't need a log so I don't bother.
    8. Click "create bat" to create a new batch file which will likely be named something like fsx.exe.limited.bat and will appear in your FPS limiter directory.
    9. Make a link to that and use it to launch FSX. A second window will open with FSX, leave it open or minimise it until you close FSX.
    10. Enjoy!

    (Thanks to Warpspider)

Beispiel:

fps_limiter /r: OGL "c:\spiele\quake4\quake4.exe" <- Nutzt OGL, also explizit angeben

    Hi Guys.

Here's a handy little item for the PMDG NGX.

It's a short checklist created by J Van E and edited to XML for use in "Checklist" section of the FSX kneeboard.

Just follow the Readme file for instructions on how to install to any of the NGX models.

Only for use in the PMDG 737,

  14. NZ themed splash screens pack 1

The first batch of a set of 36 splash screens - mostly with a distinctly Kiwi flavour (created originally for my "local" bunch - NZFF - so there's a tiny bit of "branding". Hopefully it won't spoil your enjoyment of them too much ;-).

Use a splash screen randomiser/rotator (as found here on AussieX) for best effect.

  19. OpusFSX Australian Wx Stations

For the Payware Addon OpusFSX >http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi.htm

This file extends the weather stations of the OpusFSX weather engine by 152 stations, all situated on the Australian continent. Those stations are not covered in OpusFSX since they do not report to NOAA. However, they are on VATSIM and regularly updated. Hence this file in order to be able to make use of the weather depiction features of OpusFSX while flying in Australia.

Coordinates and elevations for the stations have mostly been taken from www.skyvector.com, some from our beloved Google Earth.

  21. OZX airfields maps for printing

This file contains maps of the OZx airfields made using the online map function provided by Tom T. They are just screen shots of areas big enough to show enough detail to locate airfields in your chosen area. They can be printed out and used as a reference without having to fiddle with the online version, or as a reference point from which to drill down into the online maps for more detail.

Covers all the OZx fields that were listed on the online map version as at 29 Sept 2009. Corrections and additions are welcome via PM to nojwod.

  24. PlanG Australian ERSA - IFR Waypoints

Finally completed the Air Services - Aeronautical Information Package (AIP) En Route Supplement Australia (ERSA) IFR Waypoints supplement to import to Plan-G

    Reference document http://www.airservic...23-Aug-2012.pdf

Same process as the VFR download the attached file to computer and unzip to temp folder of your choice.

Open Plan-G and go to [Manage Data]
Select [import] then select the CSV file you saved [Australian IFR Waypoints.csv] and import the 1,923 IFR Waypoints.

There are a number that also show up as ISEC along flightpaths, but not as IFR Waypoints. (Green Triangle) in the User Waypoints menu.
There are a large number that are not shown at all so you will be able to select the IFR (green triangle) in User Waypoints menu now to see them.

  25. PlanG Australian ERSA - VFR Waypoints

    VFR WAYPOINTS for Australia

I have compiled the information as per Air Services - Aeronautical Information Package (AIP) En Route supplement Australia (ERSA)
supplement for VFR Waypoints in Australia so it can be imported into Plan G

    Reference document http://www.airservic...23-Aug-2012.pdf

Simply download the attached file to your computer and unzip to folder of your choice.

Open Plan-G and go to [Manage Data]

Select [import] then select the CSV file and import the file which will then add the 1,012 VFR Waypoints.

You should then be able to see in Plan G all the ERSA - VFR Waypoints for Australia

NOTE make sure you have VRP selected in the 'User Waypoints' section on Plan G for the selected Zoom level to show them.

Update: Have amended colums so that under 'Notes' it will now show the VRP as a VFR waypoint.
It seems the ERSA - IFR ones also are not done so stay tuned for that to be done soon

Update - IFR Waypoints Now posted and available on site here

    Enjoy VH-RJF
