Butter-chicken From Scratch

This is one I've known for ages and ages, ever since I was a cook in a big Sydney restaurant , and its dead easy to make,
great if you wanna impress the ladys
feeds 4-6
Ingredients:
thumbnail of Ginger: grated
3 Garlic cloves: mangled
handful of Almonds: chopped
1 Onion: chopped
6 table spoons of Ghee (Indian butter) <<<< trust me, this is what makes it
tin of Tomatoes: chopped
tub of thick Cream
tub of plain Yogurt
1kg Chicken thigh fillets: in large pieces
small bunch of Coriander: chopped
pinch of Salt
1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground Cloves
1/4 ground Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Garam masala
4 Cardamon pods: crushed lightly
RIGHT! now to work
PREP:
Whack the ginger,garlic,almonds,chili,cloves,cinnimon,garam masala,salt,cardemon pods,chicken,yogurt,tomatoes >>> into a nice big bowl, mix it up, pop in fridge, leave for 2 hour
then...preheat oven to 180c
then....Whack the Ghee and Onion in a large pan, fry till brown, add the chicken mix, fry for 2 minutes
then..... get a shallow baking dish, chuck the chicken mix in, chuck the thick cream in
Bake for an hour, then leave sit for 10 minutes
Serve with rice "n" naans
Eat.
