OZx is a bunch of talented and dedicated scenery developers, aircraft painters and technical support crew who produce freeware scenery and freeware aircraft repaints for FSX. With an emphasis on small air strips and GA aircraft, our aim is to make 'low and slow' flying around Australia and the US the best possible experience.

Over the last couple of years we have produced more than 200 airstrips across the length and breadth of Australia, plus a number of scenery POI's to supplement VFR flying More recently we have expanded our offerings to include the US and Italy. In addition the group produces aircraft repaints which specialise in Aussie registered aircraft and our site hosts repaints from external contributors.

Our air strips are designed to co-exist within ORBX's FTX scenery, both the Australian and the expanding US packages. Though it is not required, we suggest that for the best experience of our scenery, you would do well to have the ORBX packages.

This folder contains a repaint for the freeware Restauravia Mirage IIIB. It shows RAAF Mirage IIID A3-116, which was delivered to the RAAF in 1974 and served with 2 OCO. It was reduced to spares in 1986 and sold as scrap. The tail of this aircraft is on display outside the 331 Sqn (City of Coffs Harbour) Australian Air Force Cadets Building.  Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Restauravia

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G 42-37985 BX-V "The Saint",  Stationed in Snetterton Heath,  England, with the 3rd Bombardment Group (Square "C"),  96th Bomber Group, 338 Squadron.   
The plane  was shot up on mission to Poznan, Poland  4-9-44, and landed at Bultofta, in Sweden.
The crew was interned, but allowed to return to the UK soon afterwards, and the aircraft was repaired, and returned to the UK after the war. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

I am proud to release my third engine sound, of a Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine. This engine is used on buses 7000-7134, 7200-7251 and 7300-7350, and the EGR version is found in buses 7400-7882. All of these buses use an Allison B400R transmission except for 7200-7251, which used a V731R instead. The engine sounds came from buses 7007 and 7079 on the Yonge Subway Shuttle.

In the near future, I plan to release a version using the Allison V731R transmission.

For such a flamboyant paint job that cries out to be noticed, G-BFXS's owner sure keeps a low profile! Other than that the aircraft was built in 1977 (not showing it's age eh?) and it's based at Old Buckenhan EGSV, I can't find anything else about it.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-25893 "Joan" as flown by Lt Russel Fredenhall of the 507th FS/ 404th FG. He was hit by Flak on the 25th of June 1944, near Foret de Cinglais while flying at 200ft. His aircraft crashed and exploded and Lt Fredenhall was killed.  Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.
